What Type of Experience Do You Have with Dogs?
We have more than 10 years' combined experience with dogs and know how to read and interpret body language and behavior patterns. We’ve had dogs as pets in the past, and have about five years' combined volunteer work with the Seattle Animal Shelter and another one year's experience at an animal shelter in California.

How Do You Handle Dogs That Misbehave?
Patience is all we know with dogs. We never hit, spank, slap, yank the leash, yell, or grab your pet. If there is a disciplinary problem, such as running away or disobedience, you are informed and we implement your suggested disciplinary action(s).

What about Bad Weather? (Lightning, Thunder, Rain, Etc.)
We do not walk your dog in lighting because you never know where lightning will strike and knock down a nearby tree, pole, or something else in the area your dog is being walked and put us both in danger. In icy conditions, we do not drive; we call to let you know that we can't make it. If the ice melts later that day, we call and let you know that we're on the way. For snow, we walk you dog as long as the snow is not more than 1" thick; be advised that it may take a little longer to get to your location to walk your dog. We still do walks in the rain and make sure your dog is as dry as possible before leaving so he/she doesn’t catch a cold.

How Do I Know My Dog Will Be Safe?
We're fully licensed, bonded, and insured for your pet's safety. We also have references so you can see how other people like our services.

What Types of Dogs Do You Handle?
We’ve been around all kinds of dogs and handle any size, breed, and type for your convenience.

What Locations Do You Service?
Please refer to the location/service area portion of the home page to see if we service your area.

Will My Dog Be Walking with a Group of Other Dogs?
If there are other people in your neighborhood that want us to walk their dogs, then we may consider it under these circumstances:

A) You must feel comfortable with your dog being around others. Your dog must get along with other dogs.
B) He or she must not be submissive or aggressive.

We don't walk your dog with a group if it doesn’t pass these requirements. Instead, we give him or her a private walk. We're deeply concerned with the well-being of your dog and do not do anything your dog may feel uncomfortable with, nor would we make them do something it doesn't want to do. There may be days when your dog may not want to walk; we’ve run into that several times. Just like us, they have their good days and bad days. If that were to happen, we call and let you know; if you’re not home or if no number is provided, then we leave a note after making three attempts to get them to walk. Again, we don’t make them, we try it once; if they don’t want to go, we wait a few minutes while gently talking to and petting them before trying again. If on the third attempt they still don’t want to go, then we call you if you’ve provided a number or leave you a note if we don’t have your number.

What Would Be the Cost to Walk a Second Dog?
There is never a charge to walk a second dog.

How Many Times a Day & How Many Days a Week Do You Walk Dogs?
We mainly leave that up to you. We provide a schedule of available times from which you can lock in whatever time you choose. For example, let’s say you wanted us to walk your dog once a day three times a week. Let’s also say you chose 4 p.m. as your time. What happens is we do not schedule anyone else for that timeslot until you decide you want to cancel. If you want your dog walked on an "as needed" basis, you can't "lock" in a timeslot because we never know when you want us to come over and do a walk; "locked" customers get first priority over "as needed" customers.

Ok, I’m Really Interested in Your Services, What Is the Next Step?
The next step would be a meet and greet. That way, we can see if your dog likes us. If all goes well, we go over rates, schedules, and any other paperwork necessary to make everything official.
